Amalie Arena – VIP Lexus Lounge*
Project involved the renovation of approximately 13,000 SF of “Luxury Lounge” space for a premium guest experience at Amalie Arena. Scope of work involved providing new amenities for premium food and beverage services and new finishes throughout. The lounge materials were selected to balance contemporary finishes with the warmth of wood planking and rich leather fabrics in carefully selected furniture. In addition, the existing outdated men’s and women’s restrooms where renovated to enhance the guest experience and to ensure compliance with current Florida Accessibility Code. The restroom portion of the renovation included new floor and wall tile finishes, new toilet partitions, new lavatories and new lighting. The renovation was completed in a short period of time between Tampa Bay Lightning hockey seasons with no interruption permitted to the Arena schedule – one of the top ten busiest Arena’s in the Country. Despite the “Luxury” concept, the budget was extremely tight at $1,500,000 and the design team worked closely with the client and construction manager to complete the project on time and on budget.
